| This is just Amazing! We have never seen another like this and it is very old. c. 1870s-1880s. Depicting a HUGE Genuine Carnelian Barrel Wheel Shaped Carnelian Necklace in Deep Rich Cherry Red Measuring a Long 38 inches, weighing a hefty 186 grams! The beads measure 11.5mm in diameter by 7.5mm thick each. All knotted in between. Condition... The clasp on this was replaced at one time most likely during the 1920s. There is one Carnelian bead that has a healthy chip on it, but all the other ones only have flea bites throughout consistent with it's age of being worn and coming into contact with each other over the last almost 140 years!
