This bowl consists of at least three layers of controlled bubbles adding an amazing depth to this substantial piece of mid-century art glass. Made in Murano, probably by Seguso. There are no cracks, chips, scratches or damage. The polished base shows the expected wear and at the point where one of the handles tapers down to meet the base there is a rough spot that probably occured during manufacture. Fabulous colors and elegant form. This gorgeous bowl is a special treasure sure to be cherished by any collector. Dimensions: 6" (15cm) wide, 3" (8cm) tall. |
