A gorgeous layer of tiny, luminescent bubbles is encased in layers of subtle green and clear glass with a deep amber inner rim. This is a very substantial piece of art glass that is sure to please any collector. There are no cracks, chips or impact marks. Expected wear to the polished base. There are some very light surface scuffs (none that can be felt, only seen at certain angles) and a minute white spot on the inside rim that can be felt but appears to be an inclusion in the glass that occurred at the time of manufacture. This bowl was probably made by Alfredo Barbini, possibly for VAMSA in the 1940s. Dimensions: 9.5" (24cm) wide, 7.5" (19cm) deep, 2.25" (6cm) tall |
