We are antiques dealers with more than twenty years experience. Despite our general approach, as with all dealers, we tend to have for sale what we know and like. Our wares usually fit into one of the following:
-furniture,late 18th to early 19th
century,
-ceramics, both European and Asian,
-works of art, including prints,
watercolors and 20th century American.
While almost all our antiques will have been made between 1750 and 1850, the Art covers a broader range and we like American landscapes from the first half of the 20th century.
We are careful in our descriptions and include details of any condition problems. We guarantee what we sell. We will take back, with a full refund of the purchase price, for any or no reason anything purchased and returned in like condition within 60 days of our shipping date. We will also in most instances refund at least 1/2 the shipping cost.
The Delaplane Store is located about 50 miles west of Washington D.C. It has a broad array of antiques, collectibles, and some custom furniture. It is located in an old country store and railroad freight depot.
