$150.00

This small bi-colored figurine (CH1024), sometimes called a ‘cochimilco’, is from the collection of the late Carrol Howe, well-known amateur archaeologist from Klamath Falls, Oregon, whose interests in ancient cultures ranged far beyond his beloved lands of the ancient Modoc and Klamath Indians. In excellent condition without restoration of any type, the little guy, bede ...click for details

$2950.00

This spectacular, 7 ½” tall, cream-on-red, rattle-based, wide-mouthed vessel or ‘florero’ (LFG441) is decorated with a scene illustrating two Moche hunters each chasing down a spotted deer with his altatl poised and ready to launch a dart with fierce accuracy to quickly bring down the fleet prey. Though glued together with no new clay or paint, the broad inner surface presented by the flaring, open expanse of the florero’s 11 ¾” wide rim still provides an excellent platform for the pictorial tel ...click for details

$250.00

This 6” tall, rather professorial looking and well-attired gent (PES23), complete with breechclout, turban, and shawl over shoulder, stands with a slight smile on his face obviously caused by the pleasure he feels in showing off the small dog carried in the crook of his right arm. In spite of the left leg being glued on, a chip on the back of his right foot, and the bottom of the pup long since missing, the figure still displays well, but will need some support to stand alone.
