This group of twelve individually priced ancient Egyptian scarabs and cowroids (96.312HD, 96.328HD, 96.555HD, 96.557HD, 96.597HD, 96.617HD, 96.640HD, 96.664HD, 96.704HD, 96.705HD, 96.841HD and 96.885HD) is from the well-known Philip Mitry collection. This disk shaped, embossed, bluish green faience amulet (96.1047HD) has the image of Bes on one side and the Eye of Horus on the other. Measuring ¾” in diameter and 1/8” in thickness, the molded amulet, in overall very good condition and wearable, has a small dark casting flaw on its edge. The amulet dates into the Graeco-Roman Period, c.332BC-395AD. It comes with a small display card and a guarantee of authenticity.
