This group of moderately priced but very decorative Native American collectibles (MLB 20-22, 26, 27, 29, 30, 37, 42, 43, 47 and 68) is the second (but not the last) listing of 12 individually priced items from the Asa Battles estate. $12,000.00

This 57” x 114” Navaho area rug (BB.N412) is perhaps the most beautiful of those left in the Bill Branch estate collection. Dating c.1910-20, the bold-bordered, eye-catching design displays a repeated internal quadrant pattern consisting of eagle feather tips and a single feathered arrow. In overall good condition, it does have some minor staining from use but no significant damage or signs of wear. Grading it at 8-9, it comes with a small display card, our certificate guaranteeing authenticity ...click for details

$600.00

Here’s a fascinating enigma! This carved, 4 ¾” tall, dark greenish black steatite elbow pipe (BWO6) came to its owner as possibly Aztec in origin. In overall very good condition, even with its head glued on (along a simple break) and a number of surface scratches and bruises from repeated handling, this piece has all of the attributes of being hand-made albeit with the possible help of historical period tools. To test the theory of antiquity, the pipe was sent to Cal Howard, authenticator from S ...click for details

$500.00

This 6 7/8” wide, gray and white on red bowl (BB73) is attributed to an unidentified potter from the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico. With a somewhat primitive geometric design and its gently scalloped, infolded rim, the bowl is believed to date into the early to middle 20th century. In overall good condition with a few minor rim dings and one small repair on the rim, the bowl makes an impressive decorator and has an early charm that will appeal to many. From the estate of Denver’s late Billy B ...click for details

This attractively simple, earlier 20th century traditional Navajo jar (RLK3) has an appliqué fillet-rim and what has been described as a burnished pinon pitch finish. Measuring 7 ½” in height, this is a fine example of the style in overall very good condition with some fire clouding and a slightly rough texture that is original to the pot.
