$600.00

Here’s a fascinating enigma! This carved, 4 ¾” tall, dark greenish black steatite elbow pipe (BWO6) came to its owner as possibly Aztec in origin. In overall very good condition, even with its head glued on (along a simple break) and a number of surface scratches and bruises from repeated handling, this piece has all of the attributes of being hand-made albeit with the possible help of historical period tools. To test the theory of antiquity, the pipe was sent to Cal Howard, authenticator from S ...click for details

Gauld collection of Elmo, Montana, a town located well within the boundaries of the Flathead Indian reservation. Many other items offer ...click for details
