Ancient Roman Rings: MAB.A1
This grouping of ancient Roman rings (MAB 12; 13D; 14A & B; 74; & 79C, D, H, J, L, N) is from an extraordinary collection of predominantly Old World and New World antiquities that we are just starting to add to our catalog. Because of the size of the collection, it will probably take a few months to get all of the single items and lots listed, but new pages can be viewed as soon as placement occurs if the viewer will simply type MAB into the search link on any of our pages. Most of the rings in this group are presented just as they were found and have not been cleaned to any great degree. Please note, that though some of the rings could probably be safely restored and worn, the buyer assumes all risk of damage and loss resulting from any attempt at restoration and/or wear. Each photo in this group shows first our inventory number in brackets followed by a brief description, and then a grade estimate (1-10). Next comes the cultural affiliation, approximate period, material, the ring finger size, information concerning condition, and finally the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number prefixed by MAB as shown on the given photograph. Each item purchased comes with our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. And, if requested, an extensive list of available reference books for sale from the library of the original owner will be included with a purchase. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, Jewelry, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
