| We have 11 of these packets similar to the one illustrated, each containing 10 pieces of ancient Roman glass (CH1019B-L) and all from the collection of the late Carrol Howe. No specific provenance on these, but believed to have been used in mural and floor design. Mostly opaque greens, grays, and blues with some peacock iridescence on a few of the pieces. All in the one centimeter plus or minus range, each group is presented in an acrylic coin flip with a small descriptive card that comes with a biographical sketch about Howe…author, statesman, and amateur archeologist. | ||
