| Standing on three hollow rattle legs, this 8 ¾” wide Precolumbian grater bowl (LLL647) was found in two pieces in West Mexico in the mid-20th century by the late Lynn Langdon who glued it together along the almost straight break. With an attractive geometric polychrome design, the grater bowl is attributed to the Post Classic Tarascan horizon dating c.1000-1500AD. The bowl comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about Langdon, a map of Mexico with the Tarascan area highlighted, and a certificate guaranteeing authenticity. | |||||||
