| Dating into the latter part of the mid-20th century, this 5 1/8” tall silver kachina bola slide (BB199) is from the estate of the late Billy Branch of Denver. Unstamped, but nicely detailed and inset with deep sky-blue turquoise cabs, the slide is in excellent condition and was noted by Branch to be ‘dead pawn’. Although the braided leather string tie shows obvious wear and would probably be best replaced, the long silver cones at its ends are in very good condition and tipped with decorated, two-piece hollow beads (the cones can be easily attached to a new tie by a silversmith). A handsome addition for western wear, the bola tie and slide come with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the late owner, and a certificate guaranteeing that the slide is of Native American origin. We plan to soon have listed a total of some 150 items from the Billy Branch jewelry collection, so please check back often. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! | ||||||||
