| Each of the photos in this group of twelve individually illustrates and prices a different later-20th century Native American silver and turquoise ring (BB109-120). From the large and varied collection of pawn and other examples of southwestern styles assembled by the late Billy Branch of Denver, the rings in this group appear to have been purchased new at the time he acquired them. Two of the rings have touchmarks (Ben and MB) and the others are unsigned. Workmanship in all cases is very good, and the turquoise cabs set in the rings range in quantity from one to 13 stones with colors including blue green, Nevada blue gem, spider wed, and green. Each photo, a composite of two views of the same ring (i.e., top view and oblique bottom view), is annotated at the bottom with the following information. First, in brackets, is the unique inventory number of the illustrated item. Next come the tribal affiliation followed by the age, the length of the top setting, the ring size, a note about condition, whether signed or unsigned, and finally the price. Refer to any item by using first the Trocadero Item Number shown on this page, and then the inventory number of the piece as shown on its photo in brackets. A purchase comes with a small display card and a biographical sketch about the late owner. We have many more pieces of Native American jewelry from the Branch collection to list, so please check back often. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! | |||||||||||||||
