STANDING MALE FIGURE CARRYING DOG IN ARM
This 6” tall, rather professorial looking and well-attired gent (PES23), complete with breechclout, turban, and shawl over shoulder, stands with a slight smile on his face obviously caused by the pleasure he feels in showing off the small dog carried in the crook of his right arm. In spite of the left leg being glued on, a chip on the back of his right foot, and the bottom of the pup long since missing, the figure still displays well, but will need some support to stand alone. From the estate of the late Brian Safe, and attributed to the Pre-Classic Colima of West Mexico, c.300BC-300AD, it comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the former owner, a map of Mexico highlighting the Colima area, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced!
