| This group of twelve figurines and whistles (RDM 89, 92-95, 97, 98, 100, and 102-104) are all from the Barney Mallonee collection. Individually photographed and priced, most of the items appear to be from Ecuador. Included in the diverse grouping are owls, dog, parrots, jaguar, and a coatamundi. The Guangala and La Tolita horizons are represented, and there are a few of unknown provenance that are believed to be from Ecuador also. Prices range from $60 to $235, and conditions range from 3 to 9 (on a 1-0 scale). None of these pots have been repaired, and most still bear the marks of retrieval from digging. Each photo lists first the item inventory number in brackets, a brief description of the item followed by a numerical grade of 1-10, size, approximate date range, condition, and finally the price. A purchase comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about Barney Mallonee, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. Select or ask any question by referring either to the Trocadero ITEM # or the STOCK # (RDM.I) at the top of this page, and ALSO to the item’s unique INVENTORY NUMBER as shown in the brackets on its photo. NOTE: if you would like to view all of the Mallonee collection, simply enter the letters RDM into the search link. And if you’d like to see a terrific variety of our other listings, and limit your browsing time while doing so, just spell out the word TWELVE in the search box. That single word will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And you can even further refine that group by adding one or two additional modifiers to the word TWELVE…such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph. If you like this TWELVE on a page approach, drop us a note and let us know…and thanks for your interest! | ||||||||||||||
