$200.00 (Reduced from $500.00)

This 6 7/8” wide, gray and white on red bowl (BB73) is attributed to an unidentified potter from the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico. With a somewhat primitive geometric design and its gently scalloped, infolded rim, the bowl is believed to date into the early to middle 20th century. In overall good condition with a few minor rim dings and one small repair on the rim, the bowl makes an impressive decorator and has an early charm that will appeal to many. From the estate of Denver’s late Billy B ...click for details

$300.00

Removed from a decorative frame put together by the late Chester Howard, it is not known whether or not this beaded wrist or belt bag (TEH.F3.1) is Native American made. The faceted, inside painted beads would indicate the bag dates to the early 20th century. The inside of the bag is lined with a silk-like gray fabric. The design on the bag, with several ears of corn, seems to indicate Native American influence, but the style is not one that we recognize, thus the question. The bag is in overall ...click for details

$150.00

This small bi-colored figurine (CH1024), sometimes called a ‘cochimilco’, is from the collection of the late Carrol Howe, well-known amateur archaeologist from Klamath Falls, Oregon, whose interests in ancient cultures ranged far beyond his beloved lands of the ancient Modoc and Klamath Indians. This crudely molded and rather primitively painted 3” tall figure is attributed to the Chancay horizon of Peru, c.1100-1400AD. In excellent condition without restoration of any type, the little guy, bede ...click for details
