Most of the All of the figures in this group (LLL405, 495, 520, 525, 533, 588, 832, 858, 894, 933, 944 and 1015) are from the Pre-Classic Period, c.300BC-200AD, and all but three are from the Colima horizon. This pert, attentive little fellow (LLL711) sits with one rear leg under its body. About 6 ½” in length, and in overall good displayable condition (missing the tip of its tail, the right rear foot glued in place and some minor stress cracking on the bottom), the figure is attributed to the Colima horizon of west Mexico dating c.300BC-300AD.
