If you’re hunting for a collectible with history and character, this well-aged Colonial Period wood keru (LFG493), measuring 8 ½” in length from handle tip to handle tip, may just be the one! From the collection of published research anthropologist Lorenzo Gordon Fritz, a former southwestern primitive arts dealer who, for the past twelve years, has been living with and assisting several of the indigent tribes in the remote highlands of Bolivia, this native drinking vessel is characterized by its ...click for details

Included in the group are what I believe to be the following point types: Boggy River Type II, Burkett, Evans, Gary, Marcos, Midland, and Savannah River. $975.00

Measuring 9 ¾” in width and 3 5/8” tall, this intact polychrome tripod grater bowl (LLL15) was found in west Mexico in the middle 20th century. There is little evidence of use in the sharp-edged incised grater area. The burnished surface paint is strong although obvious black negative resist décor has been mostly removed. Decorated around the inside with basic geometric elements, the two opposing circular disks contain central snake-like designs. The stubby, phalliform legs are hollow and each c ...click for details

$800.00

With almost every newly listed item from the late Billy Branch’s collection of Native American Indian jewelry, any viewer will, as with this one (BB82), be frequently impressed with the beauty and quality of his selections. This truly magnificent example of the Zuni needlepoint style is simply stamped ‘sterling’ on one of its three supporting framework bars. In used but overall very good condition (I count seven cracked and/or lightly chipped turquoise cabs, all of which are securely held), and ...click for details

Well...almost nude! Wearing coiled headband, ear decorations and a neck collar, the impressive, 11” tall young female (RFM36) wears nothing else but a pout. The solid, hand modeled ceramic image is attributed to the Colima horizon of West Mexico dating c.300-100BC and comes from the collection of one of the founders of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Pre-Columbian Studies.
