Included in the group are what I believe to be the following point types: Boggy River Type II, Burkett, Evans, Gary, Marcos, Midland, and Savannah River. Heflin marked all of the points on one side in black ink with the provenance, ...click for details

With almost every newly listed item from the late Billy Branch’s collection of Native American Indian jewelry, any viewer will, as with this one (BB82), be frequently impressed with the beauty and quality of his selections. This truly magnificent example of the Zuni needlepoint style is simply stamped ‘sterling’ on one of its three supporting framework bars. Well...almost nude! Wearing coiled headband, ear decorations and a neck collar, the impressive, 11” tall young female (RFM36) wears nothing else but a pout. The solid, hand modeled ceramic image is attributed to the Colima horizon of West Mexico dating c.300-100BC and comes from the collection of one of the founders of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Pre-Columbian Studies. In overall good condition, and an eye-catching display piece, the figure has lost its left ear ornament, has lost a bit of i ...click for details
