Standing on three hollow rattle legs, this 8 ¾” wide Precolumbian grater bowl (LLL647) was found in two pieces in West Mexico in the mid-20th century by the late Lynn Langdon who glued it together along the almost straight break. With an attractive geometric polychrome design, the grater bowl is attributed to the Post Classic Tarascan horizon dating c.1000-1500AD. Intact with only a few minor stress cracks on the bottom (confirmed by x-ray), this bichrome figural jar (LLL646) depicts a seated shaman with slightly malformed back resting his left forearm on a large drum. Found by the late Lynn Langdon in west Mexico in the mid-20th century, the interesting vessel measures 9 ¼” in height and is attributed to the Colima horizon dating c.300BC-300AD. This 2 5/8” long, edge-translucent tan chalcedony Paleo-Indian dart point (CAH100), typed as a Hell Gap dating c.10,300-9,500BP, was found near Driftwood Creek, a tributary of the Republican River in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. This dark blue ancient glass amulet (102.9HD) is darkly translucent, almost opaque. Found in Lebanon, it dates into the Roman Period, c.100BC-100AD. Just short of 7/8” in length, an embossed image on the front may represent an animal, but it’s impossible to be sure. In overall good condition, the surface of the pitted, bubbly glass has fine iridescence from burial. The amulet comes with a small display card and a certificate guaranteeing authenticity.

This 24” necklace (100.152HD) is made up of hammered, high karat sheet gold hollow beads and an assortment of barrel and disk shaped greenstone beads. All are attributed to the Veraguas horizon of Panama dating c.500-1200AD. It is not known whether these were all found together, but the similarity of type and size would so indicate.
