This dark blue ancient glass amulet (102.9HD) is darkly translucent, almost opaque. Found in Lebanon, it dates into the Roman Period, c.100BC-100AD. Just short of 7/8” in length, an embossed image on the front may represent an animal, but it’s impossible to be sure. In overall good condition, the surface of the pitted, bubbly glass has fine iridescence from burial. The amulet comes with a small display card and a certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
