Ryohei Tanaka recently released another of his large format winter scenes. Snow and Crow combines two favorite themes of Tanaka collectors along with a cherished hand painted persimmon. This is one of my all time favorite prints by Haku Maki. EN-1 is absolutely beautiful in it's simplicity. While not dated, the print was most likely printed in the 90's. It is from a limited edition and is numbered 227/777. It is signed H. Maki in pencil and sealed with a red Haku Maki seal. the image measures 9 1/4 X 9 1/4 inches on paper measuring 11 1/4 X 11 1/4 inches. It is in excellent condition.
Work 73-34 is another gorgeous, cement embossed, limited edition print by Haku Maki. This print was printed in 1973 and is numbered 61/102. It is signed Haku Maki in pencil and is sealed with a red Haku Maki seal. The silver paint contrasted with the black pigment really sets this print off! The print image measures 8 1/4 X 12 inches. It is in excellent condition with an extremely light mat line.
