Gorgeous example of Haku Maki's genius. Poem 70-20 is a hard to find limited edition woodblock print. It is signed Haku Maki in pencil, sealed with the Maki red seal, and is numbered 58/201. The image measures 4 3/4 X 7 inches on paper measuring 5 3/4 X 8 1/2 inches. Very Good Condition, Brilliant Color, Light Toning.

Limited edition etching and aquatint by Ryohei Tanaka titled "Withered Leaf". The etching is numbered 96/150 and was printed in 1984. It is signed T. Ryohei in pencil. The image measures 3" by 6" plus wide margins. It is print # 342. Excellent condition, never framed.

"White Mane" is another gorgeous Nakayama horse woodblock print. This limited edition print is signed in pencil, back stamed with Nakayama's seal, and printed in an edition of 127 prints. The image measures 4 1/4 X 8 3/4 inches on paper measuring 9 1/2 X 14 1/4 inches. The print is in excellent condition and has never been framed. Kawase Haui printed the woodblock print "Snow At Shiba Daimon" in 1936. This particular print is a postumous printing made from the original blocks. It measures 10 1/2 X 15 1/4 inches. It is from the Heisei Edition being printed in the Heisei era begining in 1989. It is in Pristine Condition and was obtained directly from the publisher.

Crimson Ema is a woodblock print by Tadashi Nakayama. The print is dated 2007 and is signed in pencil. It is from a limited edition of 127 prints and is numbered 34/127. The print has 20 different colors in it and it took 20 blocks with 22 separate printing stages to complete this print. This limited edition, stencil print by Sadao Watanabe is a beautiful and unique interpretation of the Nativity. On brilliant red, this interpretation of the Nativity is divided into several areas. Mary, the Christ child, and an adoring King are shown in the stable, as others make their way to visit. The print was printed in 1970 and is signed in white ink. It is numbered 18/50. The print measures 23 X 27 1/2 inches. The print is in excellent condition.
