The role of Bando Tamasburo is that of a snake and like a snake that sheds its skin nine times, Bando changes costumes nine times. Here she is portrayed in The "Hat Dance." Printed in 1996 this limited edition print is numbered 18/50. The print measures 6 5/8 X 14 1/16 inches. It is signed Binnie in ink and is sealed with a Binnie seal. The print is in excellent condition and has never been framed.

Paul Binnie printed "Harunobu"s Bathtub (Harunobu no Furo) in 2007. It was self-carved and self-printed by the artist in a limited edition of 100 prints. This exquisite example is print number 19/100. The print is signed by Binnie in pencil and the image measures 10 1/4 x 15 inches. The print is in Pristine Condition.

This is one of my all time favorite prints by Haku Maki. EN-1 is absolutely beautiful in it's simplicity. While not dated, the print was most likely printed in the 90's. It is from a limited edition and is numbered 227/777. It is signed H. Maki in pencil and sealed with a red Haku Maki seal. the image measures 9 1/4 X 9 1/4 inches on paper measuring 11 1/4 X 11 1/4 inches. It is in excellent condition.

Poem-12 is an original woodblock print in the "Festive Wine" series by Haku Maki and one of 50 copies issued for separate sale. An additional 150 copies of the print was bound into the deluxe edition of the 1969 book "Festive Wine: Ancient Japanese Poems from the Kinkafu," translated by Noah Brannen and William Elliott.
