Antique dog collars are highly collectible and this one is a great example. It appears to be brass plated onto metal. The size is adjustable, but when open it is about 18 inches long. It is engraved: Hyden, 57 Portland St. S.E. Either English or American and dates to the early 1900's or late 1800's. The brass has mostly worn away and there are numerous bends and dents in the metal, but it is still very strong and sturdy, and could be used today. A tiny bird, painted in lovely blue colors. This is supposed to be a 'blue tit', I believe. Very well modeled, from England, circa early 1900's. Good condition with very slight paint loss and it appears that one toe has been re-attached. Around 1.75" long and 1" tall. Original price was $200.

Here is a very fine porcelain statue of a pug that measures around 4.25 inches tall. The only damage is the worn off gilt on the bells of his collar. Otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Dates to the late 1800's and is unmarked, but probably German. Original price was $285.

Adorable porcelain poodle or spaniel, sitting up with his paws in the air. This dates to the late 1800's and probably comes from England. The collar and bow were gilded in the beginning, but most of it is worn off from age. It appears that he also held something in his mouth, probably a basket. Otherwise in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. He stands almost 5 inches tall. Original price was $235.

We have an antique glazed clay tile with featuring a polo player. Not sure of the exact age, but we believe it dates to the 1800's, at least. Not sure where this was made, but the polo player is Asian in origin. Size is 7.5 inches square. The condition is pretty good with crazing to the glazed surface. This tile look great being displayed on an easel, but could also be framed or used as a trivet.

We recently acquired a trio of old English painted pottery stirrup cups in the form of a fox. They are similar in that they all have grape vines encircling their masks, but they each differ slightly. Dating to the early 1900's, this one is almost 5 inchdes long and is in excellent condition, with only some scrapes and rubbing on the rim.
