$150 SALE PRICE

We have here an adorable little match box with an amazing hunt theme decoration on the lid. Under the lid you will find the striker. There is no maker's mark, but we suspect this is from the Staffordshire region of England, dating to the late 1800's. It is in very good condition with just some loss to the gilding on the edges, the hunting horn, and the hound collar. Also, there is some staining to the inside of the box. But there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Size is about 3.25 ...click for details

Cute pair of old salt and pepper shakers in the shape of a horse head. These are a white metal and were silver plated at one time. They also had something painted on them, but most of the paint and silver have worn off. I have not attempted to clean or polish them- they are exactly as found, with their original corks. They and heavy little things and measure around 2.5 inches tall. These will clean up nicely!

We have an old cigarette case with an outstanding enameled horse portrait. This dates to the very early 1900's and is marked "German Silver". We have not attempted to clean or polish this case in any way, so it is quite dark with tarnish. It has numerous scratches and small dings, but the enamel itself is in remarkably good condition with just a few chips. Inside, the spring activated arms, which would hold the cigarettes, are present, but not operable, although they could be r ...click for details

$450 SALE PRICE

Here is an elegant, intricately detailed embroidery piece depicting a pair of heraldic crests within a large cartouche. The colors are still fairly bright and condition is excellent, due to the fact that this was packed away in a drawer for many decades. It consists of silk thread worked on a delicate silk screen. The petitpoint stitches are tiny and perfect. There is a date of 1837 worked into the design. The frame is vintage and measures 9.5 X 10 inches. Original price was $595.

We have a very old majolica humidor in the form of a fox, wearing what appears to be a smoking jacket. This glazed pottery piece is from Germany and dates to the later 1800's. It stands almost 5 inches tall and is about 4.25 inches wide. Condition is good with the very tip of one ear showing a very old missing chip and one other old chip on top of the head, from which emerges 3 old hairline cracks. Under the rim is a more recent chip, that shows fresh pottery, but this can't be seen ...click for details

Including the ebonized stand it is about 5.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide including the handles. The hallmark tells us this cup is OLD, dates to 1860, Birmingham England, and was made by S. A charming porcelain figure of what I believe is a Westie dog, holding an open purse in its mouth. This is not marked but is most likely either Austrian or perhaps German and dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. Condition is good with no chips, breaks, or cracks. One of the ears appears to have had a professional restoration. There are numerous pits and rubs to the glazed porcelain finish which denotes the age of this piece. $350 SALE PRICE

A large, well-modeled bronze poodle dating to the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This poodle is very heavy and substantial, measuring around 3 inches tall and 4.5 inches long. He is in good condition and retains his original glass eyes. It looks like his tail may have broken off, but on close inspection I believe the tail was made this way. It is very smooth and rounded, as though polished. A nice gift for a poodle lover or a bronze collector. Original price was $495.
