We have a set of four chic plaster and gilt finials that I believe attach to the ends of tapestry, drapery, or curtain roads. These are from France and date to the mid-late 1800's. They are made of time-worn plaster and have hand applied gilt edges. They are definitely showing their age but that simply adds to their charm. Most of the gilt remains. They are 2.25 inches in diameter and around 1.25 inches in depth. Original price was $200.
