Here is a good-looking demi-lune table that has found new life with a new elegant coating of paint in red with an undercoat of gilt that makes it absolutely pop! In its former life it was a rather ho-hum walnut banquet end table that got little attention, so I had a friend who specializes in faux-finishes give it a new look. I especially love the way the gilt enhances the carved acanthus leaf detail on the scrolled feet. The size of the top is about 50 inches wide and around 25 inches deep. ...click for details
