This is a portrait, painted in watercolor and perhaps pastel, dating to the 1940's. It is a well executed figural study that depicts a man atop his hunter. This comes from England and was torn from an artist sketch book, hence the ragged edges. The frame is much older, dating to the mid 19th century, and measures 15 X 11.75 inches. Original price was $595.

We have an exquisite miniature portait of person (not sure if it is a man or woman!) on porcelain. This was a brooch, but the pin and clasp were badly mangled so we decided to mount it on suede and house it within this lovely little miniature frame that measures 7 X 5.5 inches. The painting itself measures approximately 2.5 X 1.75 inches not counting its gold filled mount. If one wants, it can be removed and fashioned back into a true brooch. Original price was $375.

This is an exquisite little oil painting on porcelain of an Irish water spaniel. The detail here is incredible; the artist captured individual hairs with his brush technique. Just beautiful! It is unsigned and dates to the early-mid 1900's. The painting is in its original black wooden frame which measures 4 X 4.5 inches.
