A pair of very early English wine coasters that are silver over copper, most certainly Old Sheffield, dating to circa 1820. Much of the silver has worn off and the warm copper is showing through. We have not polished or cleaned these at all. They have their share of dents and bends, but they have oh-so-much character! A nice, historic pair of coasters with lots of life still in them!
