| This is a lovely, elegant bookslide made in the Sorrento region of Italy. The primary wood is olive wood, polished to a smooth, high sheen, and the ornamental ends are made of inlaid exotic woods to form the typical Sorrentoware images of classical designs. Condition is very good with just a few old chips in the inlaid veneer and some looseness in the original hinges. The bookslide is about 12 inches long. | ||
