| This is a sterling silver trophy cup from England that is engraved: "1938, H.H.H.,P.C., Hunter Trials, Open, presented by R. F. Reid, Esq.". Including the ebonized stand it is about 5.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide including the handles. The hallmark tells us this cup is OLD, dates to 1860, Birmingham England, and was made by S. Blanckensee & Son, Ltd. It does have a damaged base- it is somewhat twisted and wrinkled- looks like something heavy was placed on top of it and it got a bit mashed. No breaks or splits which means it could be restored pretty easily. | ||
