| Here is an elegant, intricately detailed embroidery piece depicting a pair of heraldic crests within a large cartouche. The colors are still fairly bright and condition is excellent, due to the fact that this was packed away in a drawer for many decades. It consists of silk thread worked on a delicate silk screen. The petitpoint stitches are tiny and perfect. There is a date of 1837 worked into the design. The frame is vintage and measures 9.5 X 10 inches. Original price was $595. | ||
