| We have an old cigarette case with an outstanding enameled horse portrait. This dates to the very early 1900's and is marked "German Silver". We have not attempted to clean or polish this case in any way, so it is quite dark with tarnish. It has numerous scratches and small dings, but the enamel itself is in remarkably good condition with just a few chips. Inside, the spring activated arms, which would hold the cigarettes, are present, but not operable, although they could be restored I am told. The size is 3 X 3.25 inches. Original price was $400. | ||
