| An exceptional articulated butter churner key ("Ghurra" in nepalese language) carved in a single piece of wood. The top represents a cow ( 8 X 5 X 4 cm). This ghurra has been collected in the district of Rukum ( western nepal). Milk and butter encrusted patina, obvious signs of use. Age: probably from middle of 20th C. Very good condition. Height 11 1/2 inches (28 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand. | ||
