This is a nice wine bottle with an underglaze cobalt blue design that reads VOC inside a floral wreath and that trademark is repeated on the base of the bottle. The bottle measures 6” high and is 4” diameter at its widest. The bottle is in excellent condition. It is possible that it actually dates from the 16th-17th century; however, there have been so many clever fakes and reproductions that have been made that we cannot validate such a date. $250.00

A sweet little globular shapes bowl with an apple green crackle glaze - the the upper rim done in a medium brown glaze. The interior of the bowl is a crackle finish glaze - there are two small firing dots where ash fell onto the surface during the firing. The person from whom we purchased the item attributed the bowl to Vietnamese origin - we have no reason to doubt that, but cannot unconditionally verify it to be so. The bottom is unglazed and shows signs of quite a bit of usage. ...click for details

$195.00

This is an unusual small handled pitcher glazed with a dark olive green glaze with a relief design in whites and tans. We have not been able to pin down its country of origin - it appears to be either Southeast Asia or the Middle East. We would guess it to date from the early 20th century. The unglazed bottom of the pitcher has a four character mark which we have never seen before. The pitcher measures 2 3/4" high by 1/2" diameter and is in excellent condition.
