| A spectacular large hexagonal Zitan box - the top and all six sides feature deep relief carving of birds - flying, sitting, perching in trees - apparently plum trees - it is made of separate pieces however the joinery is so superb that it is almost impossible to determine where the joints occur - the stand is an integral part of the piece and is reticulated - excellent condition with no breaks or nicks - 19th century.
