| A delightful small ginbari cloisonne vase with a charmingly friendly dragon wrapped around it. Beautiful electric blue ginbari ground and great workmanship. Measures almost 5 inches tall. It is unsigned. There is a bit of wear around the base (see photo) and a tiny spot of breakage (down from the second/third claw on the foot of the dragon) - almost invisible to the eye but can be felt with a finger. A truly fun piece of Japanese cloisonne. Dates from the early to mid Meiji period - circa 1880-1900. | ||||||||||||
