| A handsome small jarlet with ribbing on the sides in an underglaze cobalt blue and an unglazed bottom. We were told by the previous owner that is dated from the Ming dynasty, however we have no proof of this dating so will be conservative and date it from the mid to late 19th century. The jarlet measures 1 ¼” high and is 2” in diameter. It has a crackle finish to the glaze – the rim and the base are unglazed and the base has some remnants of kiln grit and a portion of an old collectors label. The jarlet is in excellent condition. | |||||||||
