| This is a lovely Japanese cloisonne vase with a large group of flowers and green leaves. Some of the leaves look like lotus leaves to us – but the flowers do not appear to be lotus flowers. Not being a gardener, I cannot identify the flowers except to say that are quite beautiful with the dark green leaves all set over a peach pink background. The vase measures 8” high and is 3 ½” diameter at the shoulder. It is in excellent condition with no chips, hairlines or restoration. It is not signed. We date it to the Meiji era, circa 1890-1910. | ||||||||||
