A very finely detailed coral Shoulao carved with a pleasing expression on his face, holding a peach in one hand and a staff in the other, to his right side a shell-covered branch with three child attendants and a dragon. Wood stand. 8 inches talk without stand (9" with stand). 5.5 inches wide. Early 20th Century.
Condition: branch over the figure's left shoulder broken and re-attached.

A Chinese cloisonne dish decorated with an adult hen and 5 baby chicks aside a rock outcropping and flowers against a turquoise ground, the inner sides with flowers against dark blue, the exterior with medallions on yellow, the base with turquoise enamel and otherwise undecorated. 18th/19th Century. 5.5 inches diameter, .5 inches deep.
Condition: Wear to gilding, minor losses to enamel on reverse
