An unusual rouge pot crafted from antique jadeite ornaments including a small bi, curved cylinder from a jadeite mounted painting brush, a small bead and two floral finials from hair pins, with metal mounts and stung with a chain. 7.5 inches long. Jadeite: Late Qing Dynasty, Mounts, 1920's.
A millefluer porcelain jarlet of bulbous form narrowing at the shoulders to a cylindrical neck, supported on a raised foot rim with recessed base, the delicate porcelain body decorated in famille rose enamels with thousand flower motif, above a band of geometric panels containing flowers, the neck with hexagonal designs, the base with four character "Qian Long Nian Zhi" mark in blue enamel. 8 cm (3.15") tall. 1920-1949. ...click for details
A brush washer in the form of a finger citron well carved from gem quality Burmese jadeite of intense lavender color with areas of light green. Along the side of the citron are leafy stems with fruit carved in high relief. The tendrils of the citron come together to form a basin to be used as a washer for the scholar’s brush.
Carved wood stand to fit. 5 inches long.
