A fine nephrite (jade) snuff bottle of compressed rectangular form with rounded shoulders and cylindrical neck, the material of even white colour with pale gray markings along the lower areas,lightly carved with bamboo and ducks, the bottle supported on an ovoid foot with a flattened base deeply incised as a seal reading "precious,"1780-1850.
