Tall threaded iridescent green luster Bohemian art glass syrup jug. Transparent light green glass tapering above an annular base, decorated with heavy dark purple random threading, given an iridescent luster finish, and mounted in white metal with a wide collar fitted with a narrow pouring lip opposing a tall angular "strap" handle, and covered by a conforming hinged lid with a small stemmed ball finial. Rare set of eight signed Moser Bohemian cobalt blue glass mugs with gilded fused glass vintage decoration. Signed by Moser Glassworks in Karlsbad, Bohemia. Late 19th Century to early 20th Century. The bottom of each mug is acid-etched with a trademark composed of the name "Moser" above the city name "Karlsbad," joined with a curved line continuing from the last letter of the former to the first letter of the latter. Set of four matching Hitchcock-style, caned side chairs in maple and curly maple, having a crest rail scrolled in the center and flanked by extended ring turning. Below the crest rail is a wide,shaped cross rail. The stiles are shaved on the front and have ring scribing below. The caned seat is flared and scrolled at the front. Exceptional and Fine Cherry "Jackson Press," so called because President Andrew Jackson was said to have had one similar to this--having 2 six light doors on the upper cabinet rather than blind doors.
