Roseville Pottery Magnolia Pattern Cornucopia Vase. Dating is c. 1943-1953. Made by Roseville Pottery Company working in Zanesville, Ohio. Graceful "Horn of Plenty" cornucopia form, molded in relief on each side with magnolia branches in colors on a rich blue shaded matte ground extending to a rectangular plinth. Doughty, featuring a boy standing upon a flattened, uneven mound of pale lavender gray, looking at a parakeet perched with open wings upon his right elbow.
