Roseville Pottery Magnolia Pattern Cornucopia
Roseville Pottery Magnolia Pattern Cornucopia Vase. Dating is c. 1943-1953. Made by Roseville Pottery Company working in Zanesville, Ohio. Graceful "Horn of Plenty" cornucopia form, molded in relief on each side with magnolia branches in colors on a rich blue shaded matte ground extending to a rectangular plinth. Embossed marking on the bottom, "Roseville//USA//185-8"." Measures 8 1/8" tall, 7 5/8" long and 7 5/8" wide. A cornucopia vase which is identical to the vase described below is shown as item #3, row 2 on page 155 of Huxfords' "Collector's Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery," Volume II.
