| Victorian Cranberry Opalescent Glass Wide Stripe Pattern Tumbler, having a blown-molded blank of pale pink colored glass with eight internally rounded opalescent ribs conjoined on the bottom. Dating is c. 1889-1892. Measures 4" tall and 2 3/4" diameter. Good condition. An "Opalescent Wide Stripe" pattern glass tumbler is shown in "Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, Book 9, Cranberry Opalescent from A to X" by Heacock and Gamble: see the black and white photograph at the top of page 65, and also figure 402 in the color photograph on the back cover. | ||
