| Tall threaded iridescent green luster Bohemian art glass syrup jug. Transparent light green glass tapering above an annular base, decorated with heavy dark purple random threading, given an iridescent luster finish, and mounted in white metal with a wide collar fitted with a narrow pouring lip opposing a tall angular "strap" handle, and covered by a conforming hinged lid with a small stemmed ball finial. Probably the work of Pallme-Konig in Kamenicky Senov, Bohemia, circa 1900. For similar examples see pages 103-105 of Truitts' "Collectible Bohemian Glass: 1880-1940." Excellent condition. Measures 7 1/4" tall, 4 1/2" long and 4 1/8" diameter. | ||
