Very rare indeed 3" petite Barbola mirror, c. 1920. It is the most beautiful of Barbola mirrors that I have ever seen. It has a single large flower at the top with 2 small blue flowers, and 4 other smaller flowers with very nice leaves. The colors are exquiset with beautiful light reflection. The bevelled mirror itself is 3" across and it is 4.25" tall with the flowers. There is no damage to the flowers and there is several spots of loss of silvering on the mirror, but this d ...click for details

It measures 21" long and 13" wide. The frame is gesso and the back of the mirror is wood. It has a hanger on the back for easy hanging. I could find nothing wrong with it. T ...click for details

Beautiful and hard to find vintage Royal Winton teapot. It is the Elite shape with the strawberry finial. It measures 7" high to the top of the finial and about 8" wide. I believe it dates to the 1930's because it is marked Wright, Tyndale & Van Roden Royal Winton. Wright, Tyndale & Van Roden of Philadelphia went out of business in the 1930's. They added their backstamp when the items came to America to prevent pattern theft by American companies. There are no chi ...click for details

I am pleased to present this fabulous gesso barbola roses beveled dressing table mirror, c. 1900-1920's! I have never come across a gesso mirror as a dressing table mirror and this is very rare indeed. The handmade gesso/barbola roses are just beautiful and my pictures do not do it justice. Much prettier in person. The frame is a creamy beige which sets off the colors of the florals beautifully. The leaves have exquisit details along with blue forget-me-nots and each rose is slightly di ...click for details
