| Beautiful antique victorian carved black forest stand with crystal glass vase. The carved black forest stand is fabulous with great patina. It is a tree with many leaves and spikes with 2 love birds. The details are great with carved feathers, leaves with veins and detailed bird faces. It was difficult to capture the details on camera. I have included one picture without flash to show the richness of the black forest and the rest of the pictures are with flash to show details, but the wood is a deeper color than the flash shows. The crystal glass vase is gorgesous with beautiful etchins and a fluted rim border. There are a few chips to the rim of the glass, but very hard to see because of the design. There are a few chips to the wood, but very hard to tell as no change in coloring. It measures 10" high to the top of the glass and the base is 3.5" across. Just a very beautiful epergne! | |||||||||||
