| Fabulous romantic brown transferware pitcher dating to the early 1800's. The florals and leaves are beautiful with lovely details and still quite intact with only some fading at the foot of the pitcher. There is beautiful embossed scrolls around the neck base and around the top of the pitcher as well as the ornate handle. There is a large vignette on one side, a smaller one on the other side, down the handle, on the top of the spout and underneathe the spout. The pitcher measures about 10" high and about 11" wide from the end of the spout to the end of the handle. I could find no chips or cracks. There are several small specks around the pitcher and inside the pitcher. There is some very light staining on the inside of the pitcher. There are no markings. This is just a fabulous pitcher that one does not come across very often! | |||||||||||||
