Seated woman legs outstreached and holding a bundle or stack of something on her lap and atop the stack are some type of implements. She is highly adorned with multi layered wrist bands and necklace, she has double ball nose plugs, long dangle ear rings and huge side head flaps, themselves highly adorned. She wears a skirt which has some minor losses, her right side head flap and arm have been reattached. Color remains. 6 1/4" high Ecuador Jamacoaque 200-600 AD

The quite rare type-K is a solid hand modeled figure. "these small figures exemplify a late type characterized by "goggle" eyes, deep cylindrical ear plugs, beaklike nose, open mouth, and flipper like hands and feet. Their repeated ovals create an appealing rhythmic harmony". Nice color remains of red, orange and cream, top of head restored. Comes with custom stand. 3 3/4"h. Mexico Tlatilco 1200-500 BC

A large, 7" X 7", vessel with a man emerging from one side. A cargador figure wearing a band around his forehead representing the way he would carry cargo on his back supported by the head strap. He is adorned with leg bands, a large multi layered necklace, ear spools, and nose plug. Nice remains of green and yellow pigment, completely intact and with lots of fingerprints embedded in the clay. Ecuador Jamacoaque 200-600 AD

A standing female originally had moveable arms and legs that were attached by strings through the holes on her sides top and bottom. She is adorned with large ear spools and a necklace with a central medallion, slipped in white. A couple of small chips but mostly excellent. 6 1/2" high.

The pear shaped body rests on a wide flared pedestal foot, below the rim a polychromed panel depicting the man/jaguar motif, the middle is the plain cream of the entire background all other colors rest on. Below are three registers of geometric designs separated by red bands. A very high quality, very highly burnished overall female figure in a seated position with crossed legs and her feet protruding from under her long dress, her hands resting on her knees. She is adorned with double necklaces, multiple ear rings and nose and chin plugs. Her head is covered with a tight fitting wrap, nice remains of green pigment. Intact. 61/4" high. Ecuador Jamacoaque 200-600 AD
